Ryan McGinty begins his 2nd year as the Manager of Sports Information at Texas Southern University. He joined the TSU staff afterwards a 2-and-a-half year stint equally the Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Briefing (MEAC).

He has also served as the media coordinator for the 2006 NCAA Women's Bowling Championship, along with assisting the Southwestern Able-bodied Conference (SWAC) during its annual postseason championships.

A native of Houston, Texas, McGinty received both a Bachelor'due south degree in communications in 2001 and a Principal's in counseling in 2004 from Prairie View A&Thousand. He is married to Dr. Deborah (Myles) McGinty and they accept two sons, Myles (5) and Stonemason.
